COVID UPDATES

CAN LOVELAND ADE TAKE PLACE THIS YEAR?

Yes, according to the Dutch government events are allowed again from the 25th of September which means ADE can take place. The new measures don’t allow events after midnight, which forces us to make some adjustments in our program. For more info click here. 

IS THERE ANY CHANGE IN THE PROGRAM?

Yes, all shows move to daytime, the Pan-Pot show moves from Thursday to Sunday with an extended 10-hr set and Sébastien Léger | Modular Live starts earlier and moves to Warehouse HouthavensIn addition we also have an extra Solomun show added on Thursday and another Circoloco show added on Sunday. 

What is the COVID entry policy of the events of Loveland?

To gain entry to the events, you need a valid QR code in a European CoronaCheck app or in printed version plus your ID card or passport.
You can receive a code through testing, a confirmed vaccination or proof of recent recovery. Please read below for more information.

I’m from The Netherlands, what are the entry requirements?

If you are vaccinated download the CoronaCheck app and you will be able to retrieve your QR code. If you do not have a smartphone you can print your certificate via the CoronaCheck website.

If you are not vaccinated, you must get tested before entering the event. Take the test in 24 hours before your visit. The result is valid for 24 hours. Make sure you have enough time between getting tested and the start of the event. You will receive the results within two hours.
When the test is expired, you need to test again to gain access the event. Make a test appointment here and upload the result to the CoronaCheck app to create a QR code on your phone or print it out/save a pdf version on your phone via the CoronaCheck website. Please note that you need to get tested by a TestenvoorToegang location, a GGD test is NOT valid to enter the event.

If you recently recovered (and had a positive test result by the GGD) download the CoronaCheck app and you will be able to retrieve your QR code. If you do not have a smartphone you can print your certificate via the CoronaCheck website.

I’m from a country in the EU, what are the entry requirements?

If you are vaccinated, you can use the QR code of your EU Digital COVID Certificate (DCC) in printed version or in your own country’s corona app.

If you are not vaccinated, you must get tested before entering the event. Take the test in 24 hours before your visit. The result is valid for 24 hours. Make sure you have enough time between getting tested and the start of the event. You will receive the results within two hours.
When the test is expired, you need to test again to gain entre to the event. Make a test appointment here and after you received the result, please print out your QR code or save the pdf version on your phone via the CoronaCheck website. Please note that you need to get tested by a TestenvoorToegang location, a GGD test is NOT valid to enter the event.

If you recently recovered you can retrieve a QR code in your own country’s corona app or print it out via your own country’s corona website.

I’m from a country outside the EU, what are the entry requirements?

You must get tested before entering the event. Take the test in 24 hours before your visit. The result is valid for 24 hours. Make sure you have enough time between getting tested and the start of the event. You will receive the results within two hours. When the test is expired, you need to test again to gain entre to the event. Negative test results, proof of vaccination or proof of recovery from outside of the EU can’t be used to enter.

Make a free test appointment here and after you received the result please print out your QR code or save the pdf version on your phone via the CoronaCheck website. Please note that you need to get tested by a TestenvoorToegang location, a GGD test is NOT valid to enter the event!

Can I enter with another type of negative test result? (such as GGD tests, PCR, Self-test etc.)

No, we only accept tests issued by Testen voor Toegang in the Corona Check app or printed.

Can I enter without a valid QR-code?

No, every visitor individually needs to have a valid QR-code and their ID card/Passport to be able to enter, there will be no exceptions. 

Everyone is responsible for retrieving the QR code for themselves. The organization has the right to refuse visitors’ access to the festival location in case of doubt about their health condition. In this case refunds cannot be issued.

I did not receive my test results yet. What do I do?

It takes approximately two hours before you receive the test result. If you still haven’t received it after one hour, please contact TestenVoorToegang via 088-7674010 (Monday till Sundat 8 AM – 8 PM CEST).

Does the Corona Check app work without an internet connection?

Yes, as a visitor you don’t not have to be connected to the internet to have your QR code scanned at the entrance. Please make sure you have your QR code ready before arriving at the event.

Can I get a refund if I cannot come to the event because I am tested positive?

We have a non-refundable ticket policy, but you can resell your ticket via Ticketswap. 

I cannot make a reservation at a test location nearby where I live/stay because it is fully booked, what should I do?

I have a problem with the Corona Check app, who should I contact?

You can find more information on the website of the CoronaCheck app or contact their helpdesk via 0800-1421 (from abroad: +31 70 750 37 20) from Monday to Sunday from 08:00 till 20:00. 

Will there be other or extra measurements in place at the festival?

As an organization, we have always taken all measures necessary to welcome visitors to our events in a responsible and safe manner, regardless of the number of visitors. The safety and health of our employees and visitors is always a priority. All visitors and employees who want to be present at the events must comply with the safety protocols and rules that apply at the RIVM and only receive access on presentation of a QR code.

CAN I USE MY LOVELAND CARD FOR THIS EVENT?

The Loveland ADE shows have a very limited capacity, therefore it is not possible to use the Loveland Card for this event. If you have any questions regarding the Loveland Card, please send an email to [email protected].

HOW DOES THE TICKET PERSONALIZATION WORK?

During the ticket purchase process, the ticket owner’s full name and email address needs to filled in for every individual ticket. It is possible to change this information with the help of this website.

WHAT HAPPENS TO MY COMPLETED ENTRY TICKET?

Your ticket will remain valid for the event for which you bought a ticket. We will contact all ticket holders soon with more info. 

WHAT HAPPENS TO MY DEPOSIT TICKET?

If you did not complete your second payment, your deposit (ex. service fee) will automatically be transferred back to your bank account (which was originally used for making your purchase) before October 1st. 

ENTRY QUESTIONS

HOW CAN I ENTER THE LOVELAND ADE SHOWS?

Access to the event can only be provided if you are in possession of a valid ticket. Valid tickets can be obtained through the official Loveland ADE website. Once purchased, tickets cannot be refunded. We strongly recommends not to buy any tickets through third-party resellers and non-official partners. Any evidence of irregularities such as, but not limited to, (attempted) use of (false) admission tickets and wristbands is reported to the police.

CAN I RE-ENTER THE VENUE WITH MY TICKET?

After leaving the event area, the right of access to the event site expires. Since we scan the barcode of your ticket at the entrance, stamps or other methods will not be used to identify previous accessed visitors.

ARE THE LOVELAND ADE SHOWS 18+ EVENTS?

Yes, Loveland ADE is an 18+ event. Visitors under the age of 18 will not be allowed to enter (even when accompanied by a parent, guardian and/or other adults).

SHOULD I BRING IDENTIFICATION DOCUMENT WITH ME?

ID’s will be checked at the entrance without exception, so don’t forget to bring your driver’s license, ID card or passport. If you do not have a valid identity document you will be denied access without right to refund of the entry fee. A valid identification document is an official certificate, therefore copies will not be accepted.

DO I NEED TO PRINT OUT MY TICKET?

No, we can scan your e-ticket from the screen of your phone. Please make sure to already have your ticket on your phone and the brightness of your screen is turned up when waiting in line. The internet connection at the venue can be slow, so we advise you to do this before you leave your home.

IS THERE A SECURITY CHECK UPON ENTERING THE VENUE?

Every visitor who enters the event area will be checked by the security staff. It’s allowed to request the search to be executed by an employee of the same sex. This check is set to all visitors, guests, employees and artists in order to protect the general safety on the event. Refusing the check will lead to denied access to the event.

DOES LOVELAND ADE HAVE A ZERO-TOLERANCE DRUGS POLICY?

Yes, Loveland ADE maintains a zero tolerance policy on drugs. It is forbidden to use or possess any drugs at the event. When the organization spots or confirms any infringements, the offender can be handed over to the police. It is also forbidden to trade drugs at Loveland ADE. When the delinquent is being caught he/she will be transferred over to the police. Before entering the event you will be able to deposit drugs in the designated drugs barrels without being charged with any consequences.

WHICH ITEMS AM I ALLOWED TO BRING TO THE VENUE?

It is prohibited to enter the venue under the influence of alcohol and/or drugs. When noticed the visitor will be denied access without the right to a ticket refund.

It is also forbidden to enter the event area with the following products or materials: soft drugs, hard drugs, food, (alcoholic) drinks, glassware, (plastic) bottles, cans, flags, sticks, umbrellas, walking sticks (except medical crutches and tools), pets, banners, objects with discriminating and/or provocative texts and/or expressions, battle-, cross-, fire- or shot weapons or other objects that could be used as a weapon, objects which may negatively affect the safety, health or well-being of the visitors, spray cans, atomizers, fireworks, torches, means of transport, professional video-, audio-, recording- and photo equipment (does not include digital compact cameras and mobile phones with camera function).

AM I ALLOWED TO BRING MY MEDICATION TO THE EVENT?

The use of medication is allowed when the medication is based on medical grounds and the package is still sealed. In any case the user needs to have a signed statement by a medical doctor to show the organization. In addition to the written statement, identification with an ID/passport/driver’s license is also required.

IS THERE ARE A DRESS CODE FOR THE EVENT?

It is prohibited to wear clothes which represent any kind of sports team, other clubs or shirts with offending lyrics/symbols/tattoos etc. You should also keep your shirt on during the entire event.

CAN I PARK MY BIKE/CAR NEAR THE EVENT TERRAIN?

Bicycles and cars must be parked in the designated parking places. If you fail to do so you risk your vehicle to be removed. Instructions of the traffic supervisors should always be followed.

AM I ALLOWED TO VISIT THE EVENT WITH A GUIDE DOG?

It is allowed to visit our event with a guide dog, but we don’t encourage it considering the loud music and crowdedness. If you are planning on visiting one of our events with a guide dog, we ask that you contact us beforehand by sending an email to [email protected] so we can inform you about the best way to enter the event.

DURING EVENT

CAN I PURCHASE EARPLUGS AT THE EVENT?

During Loveland ADE Alpine earplugs will be available at the Alpine earplug booth. With music above 87 dB it is smart to use earplugs with a special music filter. With these earplugs you can still hear the music perfectly, conversations remain intelligible and most important of all, you prevent hearing damage and the annoying ringing after the event. The organization recommends using earplugs or occasionally visiting some of the quiet areas to give your ears some rest. The organization is not liable for any negative consequences that may occur.

IS SMOKING ALLOWED?

It is prohibited to smoke at indoor areas, but both venues have a designated smoking area where smoking is allowed.

ARE LOCKERS AVAILABLE AT THE VENUE?

There are lockers available at the venue to safely store any belongings. If you forgot any items in the locker after leaving the event, please visit lockerbox.nl for more information. Lockers will also be available at the event location. Every visitor is responsible for their own personal belongings. We recommend taking no valuable possessions to the event.

IS ANY KIND OF PROMOTIONAL ACTIVITY/SALE/TRADE ALLOWED AT THE EVENT?

It is prohibited to distribute flyers, posters and/or banners or other promotional activities at the event area and/or parking areas without the consent of the organization. It is also forbidden to sell or trade any merchandise or products at the event area and parking areas without the consent of the organization.

AM I ALLOWED TO MAKE PHOTO/VIDEO/SOUND RECORDING DURING THE EVENT?

It is not allowed to enter the venue with professional video-, audio-, recording- and photo equipment, but of course you can make pictures/videos with your phone or a digital compact camera. Everyone that enters the event area gives permission to be filmed, photographed and sound recorded. The organization uses the pictures and recordings for promotional purposes.

WHAT SHOULD I DO IF I LOST/FOUND SOMETHING?

If you lose or find something, you can go to the counter where the lockers are being sold. Everything will be collected there. After the event you can contact the organization on [email protected] to check if we found your properties.

CAN LOVELAND ADE BE HELD LIABLE FOR INJURY AND/OR OTHER DAMAGES?

Entering the event area is at your own risk. Loveland and its employees cannot be held liable for any injury, material damage and immaterial damage of the visitors of the location/event.

WHAT OTHER HOUSE RULES SHOULD I KEEP IN MIND?

Directions and instructions of the (security) staff must be followed at all times. At the suspicion of a violation of the rules, the security staff has the right to body search. Refusing this search will lead to removal from the event.

It is also not allowed to enter a toilet cabin with multiple persons. Urinating outside the designated facilities is prohibited. Offenders will be removed from the event area and handed over to the police.

It is forbidden to climb stages, buildings, fences or other objects. It is also not allowed to take any objects/structures from the event area.

WHAT HAPPENS IN SITUATIONS THAT ARE NOT MENTIONED ABOVE?

In situations where the rules do not apply, the organization will decide on the measures to be taken. The decision of the organization in this respect is binding.
